Our water damage restoration process
Are you looking for water damage restoration services? Something failed, a pipe, an appliance, a toilet, and now there is water where it should not be. We restore water damaged homes and commercial properties, from water damage repair and extraction to flood cleanup and mold remediation, starting with a free, no-commitment inspection.
Step 1. Call and we dispatch
Our line is staffed 24/7, so you talk to someone straight away. They help you shut the water off, warn you away from standing water and send an emergency response crew. Expect us in about an hour. The visit and the inspection are free.
Step 2. We find where the water went
Water hides. A thermal imaging camera shows us cold, wet patches inside walls and ceilings, and moisture meters confirm how wet the building materials are. DocuSketch captures each room as we go. Before any work begins you have the readings, the images and a written estimate in your hands.
Step 3. We dry it and handle the paperwork
Water extraction comes first, then drying equipment and dehumidifiers: the mitigation your policy expects. Most homes dry in three to five days, checked daily against the IICRC standard. We close the job in Xactimate. You pay your deductible, we bill insurance the rest, and it is ready for reconstruction.

How much does water damage restoration cost?
There is no flat rate, because a wet bathroom floor and a flooded basement are different jobs. We inspect at no charge and give you a written estimate from Xactimate, the pricing software insurance companies use, so you see the same numbers your carrier would. On a covered loss you pay the deductible. For everything else we offer 0% financing options.
Does a free inspection open an insurance claim or commit me to anything?
Neither. We do not speak to your insurance company unless you ask us to, and the inspection creates no obligation. You see the thermal images and moisture readings, hear whether the loss looks covered, and decide for yourself. Most sudden losses, like a burst pipe or a failed appliance, are covered. You sign only if you go ahead.
How long does water damage restoration take?
Plan on three to five days of drying for a typical home, after a first day of extraction and setup. A technician visits daily to take readings and reposition equipment where a wall or floor is slow. We remove the equipment only when the readings meet the IICRC standard, then complete the paperwork with your insurance.
Can we stay in the house while it dries?
In most cases you can. Clean water from a pipe or an appliance is not normally a health risk in the first day or two, and the equipment is noisy and warm but harmless. Water that has sat longer is a different question. If sewage was involved, or mold is already visible, some rooms need to stay closed, and we tell you which during the inspection. Let us know about anyone with breathing problems.
Will filing a water damage claim raise my insurance rates?
Only your insurance company can answer that, because it depends on your policy and your claim history. What we can do is give you the facts before you decide. The inspection is free and private. You will know what the work costs, you can compare that with your deductible, and then choose whether filing makes sense.
